New Daedelus!

Ninja Tune‘s finest is back! Daedelus‘ 2006 album Denies The Day’s Demise was one of the JLM albums of the year for 2006 – then last year we were blessed with the incredible Fair Weather Friends EP – and now we are on the cusp of the next chapter in the life of Alfred Darlington.

In anticipation of the new release, Love To Make Music To (out in June), Ninja Tune and Daedelus are giving away a new track via Daedelus’ website for FREE. The track is called Hrs:Mins:Secs and it’s a stark reminder as to why Daedelus is king of the electronic sub-genres. No angle is too obtuse for this electronic genius and with Hrs:Mins:Secs Daedelus has spliced the workings of wonky hip-hop beats and old skool rave musings. Once more Daedelus leaves me with that warm, fuzzy feeling that says “only Daedelus could get away with this…”

You’re like the High Priest of Deadelus, I do say. I subscribe to the sect and am oscillating wildly with anticipation.
