DJ Buzz – Stardust feat. Frank Nitty and Dorian Concept
Vienna’s DJ Buzz has just dropped a killer hip-hop 7-inch on Personal Records – it’s called Stardust and it features Detroit emcee Frank Nitty (of Frank n Dank) and also fellow Austrian producer Dorian Concept. The single, available right now via HHV.de, and the above accompanying video act as a prelude to the full LP (Cosmic War of The Planets), which you can check out at the Supercity website.
This track instantly struck a chord with me – the DJ Buzz beats are tight and the melody just flows so sweet, oh and I’m definitely sensing a bit of Dorian Concept influence going on in there. Frank Nitty offers up some sharp cyphers that blend well with the old skool sci-fi soundbytes and that video is wicked! Seems to be a lot of heavy stuff coming out of Austria lately – don’t sleep on this!
