VIDEO: Bonobo – The Keeper
Check out the above video for the new Bonobo track The Keeper, featuring brand new Ninja Tune signing Andreya Triana.
It’s been a while since we’ve got some proper new material from Bonobo and I reckon it’s been worth the wait because this track is stunning, a real warm nu-jazz /lo-fi tune with sultry vocals from the ever-talented Andreya Triana. The video, as you will see, is a classy affair with low lighting and some clever camera tricks – fancy stuff indeed! So, is this a sign of things to come? A new album in the works from Bonobo? I don’t really know – Ninja Tune certainly kept this track under their hats – but I would imagine there’d be at least an Andreya Triana album in the making, seeing as she’s the new kid on the Ninja Tune block. I’ll keep my eyes peeled and my ear to the ground. EDIT: There IS a Bonobo album in the works! It will be due out “early 2010″, so there you go!
This single, The Keeper, is out on 14th September on 12-inch and download and also features a drum ‘n’ bass remix by Redeyes.
Meanwhile, check out this little version of Days To Come featuring Mike Boo…

This is a nice and refreshing track
Oh, you made my day! Thank you
My pleasure.
What a nice clip and a really fresh nu-jazz track. The vocalist is great as well!
A Bonobo carousel! I’m dizzy. And 2010 sounds like a science-fiction year. Hopefully it’ll be out by next summer
Why wait til 2010? the trend may be different this coming 2010.
